Wild at Heart is a data visualization piece that explores the film of the same name by David Lynch. I counted the number of cigarettes smoked, instances of lovemaking, and singing by the main characters throughout the film. The viz was recreated three times in different tools and took a crazy amount of time: Tableau, Adobe Illustrator, and p5.js.
