Hungary declared state of emergency because of the coronavirus outbreak. It is okay to be afraid of the COVID19, but it’s also okay not to feel panicked about it. Anyway, I made a chart in Tableau for both the worriers and the super laid back dudes out there! Click here to see it online.
The basis of the viz was a line square chart, you can see a tutorial on the making on the Tableau Magic site. I set the sheets to have 0% opacity and then drew everything else in Illustrator. I tried a lot of different colors, but everything seemed to plain. That’s when I decided to tweak this view a little by using gradients, but unfortunately, they’re not supported in Tableau. So as always, Illustrator came to my help to hack the system.
