This is the first infographic made for YOUREDI from a planned series of four. The Finnish company is a vendor enabling digital innovation through providing integration platform as a service (iPaas). The graphics will focus on different branches of transportation logistics, starting with the maritime shipping industry – as this one is the biggest yet least modern. The segment is quite fragmented, burdened with conflicting interests and often relies on paper-based processes. Industry 4.0 has already reached other forms of transportation, but shipping lags behind. There are a lot of data available, but most of them remain unused, so the need for digital transformation is bigger than ever.
I hope to do the same kind of infographic for air, ground and railway too, so fingers crossed that this first one will live up to the expectations. It was an utter delight working for this company, as I got free hand regarding everything: color, style, information selection… And the iterations after receiving feedback only took an hour. Dream project!
