The below infographic I made for a Hungarian dataviz competition, where the data was provided by the Budapest Airport. As the dataset was not that complicated, containing only a date field, country and city as dimensions and three measures (air traffic movement, number of passengers and the capacity of the plane), I saw no use in analyzing it with a BI tool – also lazy AF to add some additional external data –, yet it was perfect for a simple infographic.
At first, I knew I wanted to draw a trendline with a paper plane and the rest came out of this tiny train of thought. The colour schema I found on the Adobe portal, as usual, called Reach for the sky. To follow the origami design I used Pinterest as an inspiration and created a geometry illustration board.
Very interesting statistics!
