Last week I’ve learned how to put together an awesome hexbin map and though it was a long and painful journey, the outcome totally worth it. It would be an understatement, that I can’t follow the math behind the calculations, but I could put the theory in action immediately. I’m still amazed by how cool this hexbin map looks, even if it visualizes crime data like my below tableau viz.
